アメリカの大統領選挙制度の話だったので、必然的に政治体制の話に。選挙制度、議院内閣制、三権分立などについて話す。
フィリピンでは、現在、最高裁判所長官が議会から弾劾されているとか何とか。（ちょっと理解間違ってるかも。）

・フィリピンは大統領制
republic with a presidential form of government

 -executive power is for the leadership of the president　行政は大統領に。
 -legislative power is vested for both the government and the congress - the Senate (the upper chamber) and the House of Representatives (the lower chamber)　立法は政府と議会（上院と下院）に。
 -Judicial power is vested in the courts with the Supreme Court of the Philippines as the highest judicial body　司法は最高裁を頂点とする裁判所に。

The emperor has a very limited power.
